Fishy Vegetarian
Since I’ve started the café and especially the cookery school, I have met so many fish-eating vegetarians that have been asking for exactly this combination. Here it is: one vegetarian dish after another with lots of fishy dishes.
This course is about cooking really scrumptious mouth-watering dishes and will just happen to involve fish with all those lovely vegetables and salads that Clovisse at Gubbeen will be growing for us. I will guarantee by Saturday night you will be able to produce at least a dozen first-class vegetarian dishes that stand alone or work well with something fishy on the side. I will be trying to strike a balance between vegetarian and fish cookery and also showing you how they will both work well together.
As with all my courses we will be eating everything we cook. There will be a glass of wine and the chance to try out some interesting Rieslings.
If you are planning to spend the weekend in West Cork and arrive on Friday night, you won’t have to go any further than The Good Things Café to eat.
